Purposes and goals of the program:
This STARTALK Summer Day Camp for Hindi Language and Indian Culture is for Indian Heritage Learners (age 8 and up) and Non-Heritage Learners (age 10 and up). Participants learn the Hindi Language and Indian Culture through interactive instruction, hands-on activities, projects and field trips. The curriculum for this program is specially designed by University of Pennsylvania foreign language professors, K-8 World Language teachers, and Marlboro Hindi School teachers. Lunch and afternoon snacks are provided free of charge to all participants. Participants must arrange their own transportation. At the completion of the program, participants with perfect attendance receive certificates.
